Tendon Problems and Fish OIl

Hi. Started taking Fish Oil on my doctor's recommendation and soon developed painful tendinitis in my left arm.
Until I started having pain in the opposite wrist did I started to wonder what had changed in my activity or diet. I play guitar every day and the pain was in the very tendons that attach to the fingers of the left hand - the pain was becoming excruciating.
The pain was migrating to the left shoulder. The pain in the right wrist was right where I do my other most common activity - mouse clicking at work. Eventually I decided the only thing that had changed was introducing fish oil into my diet.
I stopped taking fish oil 5 days ago and the pain is quickly going away in all areas. I have seen no where tendon problems associated with fish oil, it makes no sense, but my experience is unquestionable - cause/effect.
Thanks

Keep in mind the multiple benefits before you decide to avoid it. One of the major benefits is its capacity to reduce inflammation in ALL body cells, including tendons.
I am not in a position to argue with your personal experience but I doubt omega 3 fast can produce more inflammation. If I were in your situation, I would do 2 things: first, restart taking your fish oil at 3.000 mg per day, for a week or two. See if the pains come back. If pain comes back I would suggest changing to molecularly distilled quality fish oil, like the one we sell here. Maybe you are reacting to any one of the components or impurities in your omega 3.
My best wishes,
