Stress Problem With Cat

My long haired cat is continuously pulling out her fur!?
She doesn't scratch as if she is itching. I have used pet shampoo for dandruff just incase. I feed her fish oil...but still she pulls out her fur. She does this .all day long. She should be bald by now! This has been going on for a year and a half. I think it might be something related to stress. Any ideas?

Answer:
Sometimes cats get stress disorders. If you're not sure of the origin of this stress, you can pretty much count on the fact that something is bothering her and she needs some attention to correct this.
There are over-the-counter medications to calm down your kitty that you can buy at pet supply centers
This obviously is a problem that needs to be dealt with, and to delay is also not fair to the kitty. She is dealing with her problem in the best way she can, but it might not be good enough to resolve her problem. I think once she is relieved of this stressful situation, she will calm down and not be so abusive to her fur.
