Schnauzers and Omega 3
Hi. I have 2 toy schnauzers that have had pancreatitis before and I have been told to keep them on a WD diet. Will the Omega 3 capsules be a problem to these dogs or can it help them as well?

Hi BK: I am sorry but I have no idea what a WD diet is. What I know is that since pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas al anti inflammatory food you feed your dogs will do some benefit.
Be carefully with what you feed your dogs. Dry foods, whatever they say is basically grains in different presentations. It does not matter what the dog food producers or veterinarians say.
Grains are inflammatory, all of them, since they are full of omega 6, that is the reason to take omega 3. The digestion of a dog is not made for grains but for meat, try to give them some type of meat and see how they react to it.
