Migrains and fish oil
Hi. I've had problems with headaches and migraines for a long time. A few months ago, I began taking 3-4 capsules of Omega 3 fatty acids per day. I've noticed a huge decrease in the frequency of my headaches and I am able to concentrate for longer amounts of time. They've definitely been a great help!
Thanks.
Answer:
Thanks for your testimony about how omega 3s intake has helped with your headaches and migraines; it may help other people with the same situation.
I would recommend, if you are not doing it, to add 2 more health habits that may have a positive influence in your headaches: 1- A diet free of wheat, maize and sugars. Those are the main foods that may have an impact in headaches and high omega 6 pro-inflammatory disorders like obesity, diabetes, cancer, high cholesterol, etc.
2-Add 30 minutes of exercise at medium-high intensity level. Every time I have a headache and go out for a run, It is gone after just a few minutes. Try it, you will love it.
