fish oil for dog in raw diet

Hi, What is your source of Omega 3 Oils for your dog who is on a raw diet? My dogs seems intolerant of Salmon Oil. Any ideas of a gentler product? And, how often.

Thanks.

Answer:

Alex:In their original wild life, dogs are carnivorous animals that ate omega 3 rich meats. All wild animals are high in omega 3 content. So, if you want to feed your dog a high omega 3 raw meat you can always buy free range meat (available at many stores)

If you want something cheaper give your dog fish oil supplements for humans. One capsule of 1.000 mg of fish oil per day (close to 300 mg of omega 3 fatty acids) would be a nice supplement. You can read more at Fish oil For Dogs

My best for you,

Alfredo E.

P.S. Don’t forget your daily fish oil for your entire family and always take along an antioxidant, like vitamin E, to prevent oxidation inside your body. You can find omega 3 fish oil, molecularly distilled, free of impurities sent anywhere in the World at low reasonable price, Click here

Omega 3 and pets

The simplest and possibly the most effective way to give pets Omega 3 is by using Freeze Dried Mussel Powder. This powder contains around 10% very unique Omega 3 oils, and is a proven anti inflammatory. So 10 grams sprinkled on food will give a 1 gram Omega 3 oil, a very generous dose for a big dog.

Google Green Lipped Mussel Powder and buy it in bulk form.

Note from the Editor.
You can buy the best quality mussel powder from Xtend in New Zealand, sent anywhere at a very reasonable price. Please check it.
