When we speak of Essential Fatty acids we refer to those fats that our diet must supply to keep us healthy. If we do not obtain these fatty acids our health suffers and we become ill. For that reason they are called ESSENTIAL.
Omega 3 Deficiency: Omega 6 to Omega 3 Ratio.
Probably, we could easily understand the mechanism by means of which cells work with Omega 6 and Omega 3 fats, with the following example:
All body cells have a membrane. Each membrane is mainly made of essential fats, or essential fatty acids, Omega 6 and Omega 3. If the membrane has too much Omega 6 it becomes hard, viscous and there are problems for the food, energy and hormone transfer.
When Omega 3 is sufficient the membrane is thinner, less viscous, more elastic, less inflamed. Too much 3 Omega and the membrane “drips”. Too much Omega 6 and is clogged. Resulting from too much Omega 6, our cellular membranes are heavy, inelastic and the cellular function is slow. The body must do more work to feed itself and to remove toxins. Tissues are plugged up and they become inflamed. Inflammation is the main symptom of many diseases, from

- Do not buy or take supplements containing omega 6 or 9. You already have too much of those and don’t want to put more gasoline in that fire.
- Avoid all sodas and sugary drinks. These rise your insuline, get you fatter, more inflammated and with all the disorders we want to avoid. Learn again to drink that tasteless thing called water.
- No more cooking with grain oils, they are saturated with omega 6. Learn to cook with coconut oil, butter and olive oil.

- Try to avoid grains and its derivates. Replace them with vegetables-uncooked, if possible- and a little fruit.
- Take the sun light, 20 minutes per day. It is the best and cheapest of health supplements.
