Liquid fish oil

Hi. I was taking krill oil (2) daily + fish oil pills. Felt fine but when I started taking 2 tsp of liquid fish oil nightly I experienced dizziness & nausea the 2nd day. Scared me so I am going to sop & go back to pills.

Thanks.

Answer.

Rosie, you don´t mention why you switched from fish oil pills to liquid fish oil, what were you trying to gain from it? You don´t say how many fish oil pills you were taking. Usually, liquid fish oil is more concentrated than pills, so if you are taking many fish oil capsules, it is more convenient just to take some liquid fish oil.

It could be that the liquid fish oil was rancid or oxidized, once you open it you should keep it in the refrigerator to avoid rancidity, and that gave you the nausea. If you want to keep taking liquid fish oil, I would recommend to buy a molecularly distilled liquid fish oil, you can buy at our Omega 3 Store. It is a much better quality omega 3 oil.
