Fish Oil and Headaches

by Steven haskins
(st.louis, missouri)

Hello, on several occasions I have tried to take Fish oil tablets as a dietary supplement. I only took one tablet and got a headache that lasts about 3 days.

Has anyone else had this problem? This problem for me is not only common to Fish oil tablets but also when I try to take a multi-vitamin or weigh protein shake? The headaches last for about 3-4 days.

Thanks

Answer:

Hi Steven: I would recommend you switch to a molecularly distilled fish oil or to a pharmaceutical grade fish oil. This way you eliminate the possibility that some trace contaminants could be the cause of your problem.
