Dog With Skin Allergy

I have a 9 month old dog that has so skin allergies does anyone give their dog fish oil?
I hear you can give them human fish oil of buy a kind of fish oil from stores but I have looked does anyone know were you can get besides the vet?

Omega 3 fatty acids help dogs and cats to have a healthy, shining coat. When you feed your dog with dry food you are mostly giving him dry grains. Grains are omega 6 fatty acids and are responsible for many of the allergies a dog can develop over his life, mostly skin allergies. Dogs neither cats have a digestive system developed for grains but for meat.

When you feed them grains you are setting the conditions for degenerative disorders to develop, cancer, arthritis, heart disease, etc. These are carnivorous animals.

On top of that, beware of the Omega 3 for dogs you buy in many vet shops, they are mostly some kind of vegetable oil like flaxseed soil , soy bean oil, etc. It really has ALA and Omega 6. ALA is a precursor of EPA and DHA omega 3 fatty acids but it has to be converted by the dog to these last 2 fatty acids. That conversion is very poor, so you end up giving your dog more omega 6 that what he is already getting from dry food. You make the problem worse.

Make sure the omega 3 has EPA and DHA, not ALA.

Why don’t you stop giving your dog dry food for a couple of weeks and start feeding him, raw bones with some meat (this clean his teeth), raw meat, raw eggs. In 2 weeks you will see if his allergies improve…
