"omega 3 is one of the best wepons
against high triglycerides"

Answer:

I can tell you this:

  • It is VERY important that whatever happens you continue with your exercise. Hopefully 60 minutes per day. This keeps your triglycerides low.
  • Lower your carbohydrates. Carbs become triglycerides in your liver. NO breads, cookies, no sodas, no sweets, no rice, alcohol, etc.
  • Take 6 capsules of fish oil omega 3 daily, divided in two dosages. Fish oil is a sure bullet for triglycerides. After 4 weeks take a test and adjust the dosage higher if above 100.
  • Lose weight. That is the last one. Both, cholesterol and triglycerides improve with this.

Cholesterol is a complex argument. Cholesterol is not linked to cholesterol in diet. I would say if you have no other risks factors like old age, hypertension, sedentary life style, lots of stress, etc you can forget it, if you have a low carbohydrate diet. Anyway, everybody should eliminate vegetable oils, except olive, margarines and any food made with them. Too much omega 6.

Fish oil Omega 3 has the virtue to act on the production of “good” eicosanoides in each one of our body cells, opposing and balancing the actions of “the bad” eicosanoides.

By this balance action fish oils diminishes general and cardiovascular inflammation, in particular. It increases blood’s fluidity, diminishes cell proliferation(important in cancer), improves mood, diminishes irritation, etc. Go to What is Omega 3 .

Elevated triglycerides is the body’s answer to high omega 6 food ingestion. What are those omega 6 foods? Basically all carbohydrates. That is to say, sugars, grains and all their oils, vegetables and fruits.

Since we need vegetables for its richness in vitamins and oligoelements, and for its low carbohydrate content, we should keep eating them. The same for some fruits, although there are some with high carbohydrate and sugar content, that would be desirable to eat in small amounts.

However, sugars, grains and their oils, that is sugar in all forms, cakes, pasta, soy, rice, corn, potatoes, breads in all its forms, etc., are saturated with carbohydrates (Omega 6). They overload the body with Omega 6, which unbalance the Omega 6/ Omega 3 ratio.

You can find omega 3 fish oil, molecularly distilled, free of impurities and sent anywhere in the World at low reasonable price, please click here
