Age To Start Omega 3 For Child

by Ann
(Philadelphia)

Hi, I am the mother of a boy 2 years old…At what age you can start to give a child omega 3 oil?

Ann

Answer:

In order to reach full neurological development a child’s brain needs lots of omega 3 fats. 60 % of the brain is fat and most of that is DHA, a fat that is a component of omega 3.

If your child doesn’t get enough omega 3 it may never develop its full intelligence and may get some brain disorders like ADHD, depression, bipolarity, etc.

Your child needs omega 3 even before delivery and every day after that. Your best bet is to supplement with fish oil.

P.S. Don’t forget your daily fish oil for your entire family and always take along an antioxidant, like vitamin E, to prevent oxidation inside your body. You can find omega 3 fish oil, molecularly distilled, free of impurities sent anywhere in the World at low reasonable price, Click here
